Through training with Developing Doulas in 2022 in addition to my experience, I’ve learned the power of truly listening. I’ll be by your side as you prepare for birth and throughout your labour — offering calm reassurance and a gentle, steady presence. Whether that means advocating for your wishes, helping you relax through massage, visualisation or breathing techniques, or simply by holding space, I’m here for you (and your birth partner too).
As a postnatal doula, I offer calm, non-judgmental support to help you settle into life with your new baby. I’m here to listen, help you process your birth experience, and build confidence with newborn care—whether it’s soothing, bathing, nappy changes, or learning baby cues. On those sleep-deprived days, I also lend a hand with light tidying and laundry, support siblings and partners as they adjust, and share trusted, evidence-based info on baby care, recovery, and local services, so you’re never navigating it all alone.
I trained with NCT in 2024 to become an antenatal practitioner, and one of the best parts of the job is bringing expectant parents together to build lasting support networks. NCT courses offer trusted, evidence-based info—and every booking helps fund vital services like the charity's infant feeding line (0300 330 0700 (option 1). The line is open everyday from 8am to midnight, including bank holidays) and sling libraries, so the support keeps going long after the course ends.
I used to find relaxation really hard—until I completed the Love Your Birth Teacher Training in 2025 and became a certified hypnobirthing teacher. That’s when I realised relaxation is a skill you can build, and mindset makes all the difference. Now, I help others with practicing relaxation techniques, making them confident to use them when it comes to their births (and afterwards too!)
I trained in 2025 as an ABM breastfeeding peer supporter, which taught me how offering my opinion in situations can be unhelpful for families; instead I can offer evidence-based information and use my skills and knowledge relating to infant feeding to support parents with whatever decisions they make. Anything outside my remit as a peer supporter, I know exactly where and who I can signpost parents to, so they can find the appropriate support they need!
